What Photoshop's Move to the Cloud Actually Means for You
Adobe Photoshop, along with all other Creative Suite applications, just made a move to the cloud. Adobe decided to discontinue software you can actually buy so they can force you to rent the applications for a monthly fee. This change comes with a number of problems but also some advantages. Here’s what the change means to you. Some more info on the Adobe Cloud change, it’s a good breakdown. I’m not happy about the 1 year, mandatory subscription, but everything else is about what I expected.
If updates are important to you, you until July 31st to get the discount.
Students, you have until June 31st, which is a bit of a jerk move.I wonder how this will effect backwards compatibility with the current system?
